Also about your second point, it's not about how big it is.  It's about having quality exclusives.

It's not Nintendo's series just like Mass Effect wasn't Microsoft's and so on and so forth. And even if they've bought the rights to the entire series (which I've yet to have seen proof of) Sega can easily buy out of the deal and still do a port if they want.

And yes it is about how big it is. Ninty needs system sellers, not run of the mill exclusives.

BAYONETTA 2 (GAME) belongs to nintendo. BAYONETTA (IP) belongs to sega.

Source? I've seen nothing official saying such a thing. Don't just keep repeating the same thing without backing it up first.

That's when it becomes hard to take it seriously.
