Its got to be because of Ampharos getting a mega evo. All th poke getting mega froms I would assume have to be able to be caught in the game. Some poke are probably going to be version exclusives like Mareep only being able to be caught in X and Gabite only being able to be caught in Y or something like that.
To answer the OP Ill be getting Y the legendary and the mewtwo form look best in that version imo. Not sure which starter to pick up anymore chespin's second form looks so lame may pick up fennikin depending on there final forms.
