I think it is as long as the owner allows. I believe the restriction is that you lend your entire library, and the recipient has full access to the library. I think you can't play the game at the same time, or maybe you can't have access to the same library at the same time. Which shouldn't be a problem since the sharing is just on one computer.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
