I don't think they will even make the $130k for the PC + WiiU versions, $220k is even more far-fetched... which saddens me, cause I really liked Lexis Numériques "eXperience112" (The Experiment) a few years ago.
This game looks very linear and casual to me. If you can only transport one item to the next obstacle and there is only a linear path, the puzzle design seems very constrained. Even "The Cave" had more potential for good puzzles with switching and cooperation between characters.
I also suspect, the "epic odyssey" will not be so epic at all and we would get a rather short game... comparable with Machinarium and The Cave at best. For such a download game, the entry point should be $5 or $10 at Kickstarter, not $20 for the non-early birds.
They should port eXperience112 (PC) and Red Johnson's Chronicles (PS3) to the Vita (and iOS and Android) to get some cash, seems like a good fit for mobile devices.
