Perfect Dark at #55 is a disgrace.

Deus Ex and Metroid Prime aren't shooters, although they are masterworks.

Half-Life is a solid choice for #1, although I think its sequel is superior.

4) BioShock

2) Half-Life 2
1) Halo: Combat Evolved

I remember back then  4 players teaming up against DARK BOTS with a pacifist bot thrown in just for the lulz (and the "drunk vision" after he slapped you)  fuck yeah.

I rented PD right after its release. I don't know why, but I have not enjoyed its multiplayer the way I did Goldeneye's.
