They want as many people to buy this version as possible. They don't want people waiting for it to be ported to their systems. And they probably said that so people would quit pestering them anyway. But boy am I going to laugh if it is ported though. Some people are getting way too attached to game like it's the savior of the Wii U or something. This game will not make or break the Wii U. Man, this game is not going out of the Wii U unless Nintendo says so. They funded the development. They didn't published or funded only some parts of the game, they funded the entire development of it and the publishing costs, therefore, it's going to stay with Nintendo no matter what you think or believe. I don't see what's so hard to understand about that.
