It's funny, I don't think of the Wii U drought as a big deal to me at this stage in my life. But looking back on when I got my SNES, it seemed like an eternity until Zelda 3 was released but it was only until the first summer. And that was despite me having MarioWorld, Castlevania 4, F-Zero, Final Fantasy II and many others to occupy my time. I guess time passed slower and I consumed games quicker back then. Kinda makes it hit home for me just how bad Wii U's software situation is for those who have more time to play than I do. It really needs fresh, non-port content.
