I predict only 2 victors this 'upcomin' gen...but none will outdo the previous gen (in terms of amount of consoles sold)...i have faith the wii u will pick up and eventually be a success, but only sell around 50 million at best.
Xbone and ps4 will battle it out and one of them will sell 60-70 million this gen, the other 10-20. I also predict both xbone and ps4 will have just as bleak launches as the wii u (ie appear to start well, due to the fanatics but fizzle out after christmas..maybe do a bit better than wii u in its first year if these supposed triple a games actually arrive so soon)...I agree with those of the opinion that an optimistic and dedicated online fanbase wont necessarily translate to strong mass market appeal. It's just not the same world anymore and consumers are being force fed a lot of stuff, and there's only so much money to go around.
