Yes, and so they have to sell X ammount to break even. You know Watch Dogs NEEDS to sell 6 million copies to be profitable ?
Why do you think capcom is on the dust with their bank account ? do you think resident evil 5 was a success ? Why so many seasoned devs going indie ?
higher costs always means the most incapable studios, financially or technically, will go down. Stop saying otherwise, you are annoying.
