Yeah i miss the good old days, when you just bought games and there wasn't all this fanboy nonsense going on. When you appreciated each game in its own right for just being a different experience - not whether it got a good rating. Back then you bought lots of games based on how good the box art was, and were genuinely surprised and appreciated a game when it turned out to be a good one or had good music. Nowadays, the media tells us what games we should and shouldn't buy and what games will turn out to be good memories and which wouldn't - it's really fucked up now when you stop to think about. Nowadays it's becoming more about the money rather than the memories.
