Completeing certain tasks in uplay enabled games earns you achievements style points that can be traded for in game content or other items.

E.g get enough points in Farcry 3 and you get access to a secret mission, some syringes and a free ps3 wallpaper. San Fran allowed you to get something just as interesting can't remember what though but I remember loving it when I was playing, loved it so much I spent all my remaining points just to get the item. Best part is the points carry over from game to game.
