Diablo 3 console actually fun?

Wasnt kiting always viable?

I never tried it, but I was told that it's difficutl because in the mayhem one has to move one's mous a lot to do it and not make mistakes (click on the menu instead of on a trail to run away, that sort of thing). WIth the sticks this might be easier (ceartanly there's no possibility for screwing up)? 

Actually I remenber somthing about the Demon Hunter class being easier to play with the thumbsticks given some of her skills? I don't know.
