Considering that with the Vita you can turn your PS3 on and play games wherever you want through wifi with remote play, why wouldn't you be able to do remote play wherever else you're at with the PS Vita TV? It has an ethernet cable to connect to the internet after all. Maybe wireless but I didn't look too much into the specs, though I'd assume so if you can play the PS4 remotely when it's in a different room.
