I'm highly skeptical about that. The main reason goes into the fact that you can't take it with you anymore, which is 100% the point of a handheld device. What that means is that the people buying them are the people who want to play the handheld games, want to save money, and don't care about being able to take the device onto a train or bus or something.

At the same time it loses its "portability", it gains another element. Vita TV is a cheap alternative to those who wants to play Gaikai library(wich i think will include PS2 and PS3 games)... The idea is just amazing. Its not like "Play Vita on your TV", is like "cheap alternative to play PS1, PSP, Vita, PS2 and PS3 games, and also watch movies on Netflix, see your trophies, and many other things on your TV. Just for 99 dollars"
