As long as the Cards have Fitzgerald, they'll have to go out of their way to be the joke they were last season. Carson Palmer is not exactly a good quarterback, but he's enough steps up from Kevin Kolb et al. to make opponents have to actually show up to get their win. I don't expect the Rams to be a powerhouse this year, and they'll likely have a losing record, but they should be competitive. |
I'm not gonna lie, I am hoping for a lot more than that. They were 7-8-1 last year and 4-1-1 in the division. They had trouble at the end of games last year, and ended up losing (and tying) a couple of winnable games. They were the youngest team in the league last year and are again this year, but I am hoping that another year of experence and another year with Fisher will fix that.
They have a very good front seven. They tied for most sacks in the league last year. It "should" be an improved offense with the added weapons. We shall see I guess.
