Why do Xbox 360 games sell so much better than PS3 world-wide?

There are plenty of games that sell better on PS3 than 360

Batman Arkham series

Assassin's Creed series

Fifa series

Resident Evil

Etc.

Especially japanese multiplatforms titles sell much better on Ps3; Dragon's Dogma or Metal Gear Rising comes to my mind.

yea thats why i said RE and FF. i didnt need to check to know they sold more on PS3. for western games i would have to look it up
