Why do Xbox 360 games sell so much better than PS3 world-wide?

Well you should have at least pointed out that some series do sell better on PS3...but its because of the bad repuation PS3 multiplats got from the lazy porting devs did early on, so now its just safer to buy the 360 version of a game.
