So does that mean we will see a significant difference between 3rd party games for the PS4. 50% difference is huge if we are not talking theoretical.

My laptop has a puny little GT 650M. If someone has a GTX 660M they have ~25% increase on me. That means that when I play Metro 2033 or Metro Last Light (Play them both! Fantastic games!), it is a difference of switching shadows from high to medium, keeping textures on high for both and switching a few AA options and depth of field. Also affects fps a bit. Metro for me ran ~30fps. For someone with a GTX 660M they probably got a steady 45-40fps.

Overall, to the standard user it makes very little difference, regardless of what the 30fps to 60fps crowd tells you.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
