I think everyone will agree that the comparison between the Jaguar and the Wii-U is dumb. However, I think that a comparison between the Dreamcast and the Wii-U is more suitable.
In addition, like it or not he has the best intentions. And he's right in some things like the fact that Nintendo needs to expand their audence. They have Metroid and don't know what to do with it. The last franchise (aside of the Wii-Series) they created was Pikmin almost 10 years ago. They don't have a strong relationship with Third-Parties.

No. He didn't caused anything. He was fired from Atari years before the crash. He's only guilty of selling Atari to some dumbasses who later decided to change the direction of the company and fired him ('cause he didn't like the things they wanted to do). Then, they ended up destroying not only Atari but the entire Industry.
