Umm no, how does it not have any survival elements? The entire game is based around it, supplies are constantly low, crafting is a big prt of the game as well. What is wrong with the stealth? You say it is weak but cannot explain how? The stealth was excellent, in fat it was better then a full stealth game I played recently, in Hitman. It was intense, and worked extremely well. Sorry xbox fan says say, it's total BS. Again 100 reviews not one said this, sony bought them all? You post is LULZ, an attepmt to put one of the best games this gen down because it is a PS3 exclusive.

Fallout New Vegas has more survival elements than The Last of Us, especially on hardcore mode. Seriously, as much as I adore The Last of Us and anything made by Naughty Dog, there really is close to no survival elements in the game. You don't need food or anything, the crafting is mostly uneccessary, it's not really different from collecting items. You just collect some health packs and ammo and stuff, that's really all there is to it. 

But the stealth gameplay within the game was pretty good imo. And after all, the game was just fun from the beginning to the end, which is all that matters to me personally.
