Thanks for that video. Strange that that the first one is still being used in the game code even though the shadows are obviously off. Now I feel the need to re-watch the Xbox reveal to see what else that screen shot was used for.

As for the second image, did you even watch the video you posted? The image isn't anywhere in sight! The closest thing to that image is during gameplay when the driver goes past the same area...

Look at that pre-baked railing shadow again ;)

Unless you want to prove the final game will have a different lighting engine than this build, Forza 5 has pre-baked shadows. Case closed.

Regarding that gif, I  have a hard time judging whether or not it is prebaked, since you need to look at a complete video to make the judgement, not a gif showing a few seconds.

If it is prebaked, and it at the same time makes the game look superior to other racing, games, I have no problem with it. Turn 10 still say they are dynamic, shouldn´t we go by that until the game is actually released and we can judge it for ourselves?

It's pre-baked.

No one has posted a link to Turn10 saying it's dynamic, so I'll trust the game itself over hearsay.

He's not arguing that Drive Club looks better than Forza. Heck, he's not even arguing that pre baked shadows look bad. Maybe you should read all his posts first before going on the attack.

Thanks ;)
