50k is still pretty awful. The PS3 has only had one week that was lower, and that was before it launched in Europe. The 360 doesn't seem to have ever fallen that low. Toss PS2 sales ontop of those PS3 sales and it isn't even close.

Even with half the consoles (that VGC tracks at least), Nintendo makes up less than 20% of the home console market. Very significant might be overplaying it a bit, at least for this moment in time.
Also the Wii has been declining all year without a corresponding rise in Wii U sales. Both combined are also less than Wii sales for 2012 at the same point in time.
