Nothing makes me facepalm like these articles and posts about the death of Nintendo.

Sure, they're not making as many sales or as much money as they did in the Wii's prime, but really, absolutely NO company right now is making that much money. The Wii sold ridiculous amounts.

But c'mon, just look at the hardware and software sale numbers for this week, for example.

For Hardware (Across all their platforms):

Sony (PS3, Vita, PSP): 203 774 units
Nintendo (Wii, WiiU, 3DS, DS): 195 191 units
Microsoft (X360): 78 126

Then for software (Across all their platforms)
Microsoft (X360): 1 756 423 units
Sony (PS3, Vita, PSP): 1 746 826 units
Nintendo (Wii, WiiU, 3DS, DS): 1 349 811 units

There's a HUGE difference between making LESS money than before and making NO money and being in financial trouble. And the numbers show that Nintendo is still making TONS of money.

So just freakin' relax, wash the sand out of your man-ginas, and just enjoy playing games on whatever platforms you choose to own.
