Uh, this is a handheld. Just like how iOS games get scored higher due to being on iOS this should get treatment different from that of a console.


Either way, no big deal. Well, expect for the fact that reviewers continue to make this stupid mistake of claiming games have these short lengths, meanwhile your average person does not rush through a playthrough like a reviewer does.

They need to begin putting these things into proper perspective.

That reviewer seems to get it.

"Killzone: Mercenary is an enjoyable shooter, with an excellent online mode and a solid - if not completely predictable - single-player campaign. It looks outstanding on the Vita, and finally gives the little console the shooter it has been crying out for."

Also says this:

Killzone: Mercenary is the best first-person shooter on the Vita, even though that's not saying much. It feels great, looks outstanding, and has a hugely addictive online multiplayer mode

 

The guys over at Pocketgamer are great. If a handheld title is known to require multiple days or weeks to get the full experience they do reviews in that manner. For most games they do a 7 day review system. They give an initial impression on day 1, then come back and update the article on Day 3 with the experience at that point and how the fun factor holds up, then they give a final impression after 7 days.

They are awesome. You should check them out on a regular basis, lol.
