i think they did that so they could allow the craft anywhere thing  and in a zombie apocalypse you can never have to many mechanics lol

Yeah, I know xD But going back to Off The Record, Frank could also craft weapons. The catch was that Chuck's crafting animation was badass, and Frank's was poor and clumsy! It was a funny spin. They could have done the same here, with a...I don't know, a medic. That way we would have the photographer, the mechanic and the medic!
