I can't imagine a GoW movie. With the games, we understand how Kratos feels, we understand what motivates him. There isn't a need for a lot of exposition and dialogue. I can just imagine some executive saying the he needs to show a wider range of emotion so he can be "sympathetic to the audience" and so that women will understand him.
What kind of bullshit is that?
All he needs to do is be pale, angry, and kill stuff.
They'd probably give him a plucky female companion and the two of them would develop feeling for one another during the course of the film, until the end, where he would have to choose between his revenge or admitting that he could love again so he could save his new-found sweetheart. Grargh.
