Still with all that, it's only 1/3 what the last James Cameron movie made. Amazing.

And it would take a minimum wage worker in the USA over 6 thousand years to make that much. Assuming they could live, work, eat for free (and live that long.)

Actually, Avatar made about 2.7B dollars if I remember correctly. So it's about 12% perhaps 

Edit: But if you count all versions, it's probably almost 1/3 of Avatar!

Yea, I did say about 1/3, but I remember that number was box office only, but it's also on DVD/Blu-ray and had that Pasasonic Exclusive for a while.  Plus I'm sure there is a TV broadcast deal after it goes through other sources. 

Usually a movie make the same amount on rentals/sales that it made in the box office.  So even if Avatar only made half, there is still another 1.35 billion to add to the totals.
