they wont. its a useless feature, specially because there is no cross-platform gaming, why would anyone care about it? really its not a big deal, mostly fanboy will care about this as they care about a billion other useless stuff as well. (there was a thread about not being able to turn off the LED light in the PS4 controller, i mean fucking geez)

Microsoft stated why they cant talk to each other, 360 is using dated audio codecs or whatever, X1 is a huge improvement, why is cross platform chat a big deal when they cant play with each other anyways? im sure these people can use other devices to chat on. the big news here and the reason i made the thread is illumiRoom unlikely to be Greenlit since it would cost "thousands" of dollars

I think you must not realize that companies now use Kinect to video conferance groups of people.  It has sound canceling tech - and works much better in my experience than Google Chat.  Great when you have offices far apart and want them to talk to one another.

One company even has a permante portal looking one on each end.  Like the window of the office crosses thousands of miles.

Cross platform gameplay so far has never worked.  One system will dominate and destory the other.  It's usually the PC Gamers by the way.

Bummer about the IllumiRoom, but hopefully that means they will concenrate on the new Fortezal glasses thing.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
