If capcom could so over something like this, we wouldn't have had king of fighters, or any other 2D fighting game. Like these guys would attempt to do something they'd get sued for. That's no way to run a company. You understand what you can and cannot do. Inti-Crates just made megaman 9 and 10, and I doubt Capcom has a problem with this at all.
If they do, then too damn bad.
