Try looking at this list: http://myanimelist.net/topanime.php - it's a great site for finding anime to watch, it's essentially the IMDb of anime :P If you click the profiles you can find out about the shows, see reviews, genres etc :) if you also search up the shows you have already seen, towards the bottom of their profiles is a recommendations list of shows people consider similar ^^
