Yes, it must be a big disappointment for Ubisoft, even though have shown in interviews that they are very aware that this gen has gone on too far and that we need a new gen ASAP to generate interest and increased sales.

2013 is a very difficult year for all games that are not natural blockblusters. So many who have underperformed already.

Depends. If you're talking about stuff like Gears of War and God of War, I think they performed as expected, given there were not sequels to blockbusters. Even if they carry a powerful name, many knew they were simply end-of-the-gen cash-ins and both companies treated them as such. But, The Last Of Us shattered many of the doubter's predictions (mine not being one of them, since I knew better), Tomb Raider, Infinite, and Last Light all performed well. I'd say 2013 has been a good year for games, certainly better than the travesty that was 2012.

Really? I think the only expcetion is The Last of Us, who surpassed expectations even saleswise.

Dead Space 3 is tracking far far behind the other two.

Crysis 3 is tracking far far behind.

You mentioned Gears and God. Slightly above 1 million if I'm not mistaken? That's awful for such big franchises.

Tom Raider, even Squyare Enix revealed it underperformed.

Personally I think Biochock Infinite hugely underperformed given it's a 94% Meta or something.

DMC, ultra-bomb despite 85% Meta.

Metro Last Lite bombed too. 200K on X360 for a +80% Meta and a game who got praised and pushed by THQ.

Snipper 2, only 120K on X360. The first one sold over 1 million.

Fuse. 90K combined on PS360.
