Yes, it must be a big disappointment for Ubisoft, even though they have shown in interviews that they are very aware that this gen has gone on too far and that we need a new gen ASAP to generate interest and increased sales.
There's been zero hype and is almost no awareness that a new Splinter Cell is coming out. Even I missed it. But the same can be said or many other games. Like, there's a thread here right now asking about Beyond and its sales potential and rightully so.
2013 is a very difficult year for all games that are not natural blockblusters. So many who have underperformed already. This holiday season will be even more horrible for current gen games, except for GTA5.
