Only if the object to touch is exactly in the middle of the touch screen. the more it is to the border, the easier it is with the 3DS XL.
And the normal 3DS will be the best choice for small hands of all three options.
But the whole discussion is mostly academic...when you use a stylus, the size of the borders is irrelevant.
And without using the stylus, inputs on the resistive touchscreen are a chore anyway. I want a 3DS XL Deluxe with a capacitive touchscreen. ;)
