How the heck are we supposed to reach the 2DS touchscreen?

So I saw the actual 2DS in a display case at PAX Prime, that thing won't be a big deal to hold and play, it's not super big to start with O_O; I'll get some comparison to a dollar bill or something later today if I pass by it.
