i don't think that sony (or nintendo/microsoft) would fund a game which is like mega man just with another name. capcom would be maybe not so amused about that. that's at least my theory why this would never happen.

i think there is a little difference between splosion man from a random developer or mighty no. 9, a game from a former very important capcom employee working on a game called mighty no. 9 which main character looks almost like the main character of a game series from capcom.

or do you mean the capcom mobile game capcom ripped-off from twisted pixel? because that was not nice and twisted pixel wasn't really happy about that^^
