You're right. I can definitely see Nintendo giving PG a Mario game to make.

Mario wouldn't be a very good fit for Platinum, but Starfox would. People aren't going to look at the box and say, "oh, it's by Platinum, so I won't get it."

 

Only if they make it for the 3DS.
