As long as I get some good/new exclusives here and there I don't care.
I can't speak for the year 2015 and beyond, but there are a lot of good console exclusives. Hell, 3 of the games I'm buying at launch will either be timed or permanently exclusive (Ryse, DR3 and Forza 5 which will of course be permanent unless MS starts going PC gaming again.)
The reasons I stuck with the 360 were
1) Superior online enviorment, IMHO and of course this will always be debated. It will be interesting to see how the XB1 stacks online against the PS4, but I'm going to assume MS will still have the edge with more dedicated servers (unproven) and that last voice sample was amazingly clear. The console has a dedicated soundchip, correct?
2) Shooters - Halo, Gears and a controller that was better for FPS. Sony again is testing this with a nice controller this round, but is it really better for shooters?
3) Halo again. Really was the game changer for the original XBox, and to this day is still my most enjoyable FPS. I can't imagine missing a single Halo game again. I'd pay $560 just to play the next Halo, and a few of my friends feel the same way.
4) Because ALL of my friends had a 360.
Things will be different next gen for some people, but since all my friends are either buying both the XB1 and PS4 or just the XB1 I think my path is even more clear.
It's just that simple.
