If Rayman legends would have stayed a Wii U exclusive, would it have helped the Wii U as much as Pikmin 3 did?

If was exclusive, it wouldnt be late, so it would be launched in feburary, and it could push much more than pikmin 3, but also push as much as or more than zumbi U: game planned to use the exclusive feature, the gamepad, it was a novelty, so it would have the same appeal from zumbi U, so this time for a more casual public.
Now, the novelty factor has gone, and it have to compete with many first party games...so, it wont push so much... but it could if release at right timing.
