SSDs help PCs tremendously, but I've not heard of their performance in a console. Run it by Disolitude, I believe h'es tried it before.

Adding an SSD to a PS3 helps with load times somewhat and it also lowers texture pop-in in Skyrim and Rage. Not really worth the money and the sacrifice of storage room in my opinion but who knows, maybe Sony will add more extensive SSD support with the PS4.

any word on hybrid drives?  Like those with 2tb HDD and 8gb SSD?
