I don't like the idea of an "ignore" feature. Everyone gets pissed off at idiots from time to time, but I'd say it's much more important that you learn how to deal with them than be able to ignore them. Besides, if they are really that bad they will get hit with the banstick.
I'd also bet that many of the people(not all) that want an ignore feature, are the same people that give trolls the attention and reactions they want. If someone's posts and thoughts are pissing you off, respond in a level-headed manner. Maybe they aren't even worth your time, so try not responding. If you really can't handle or deal with what they have to say, that's something you should work on yourself. Life is full of knuckleheads, and it's something everyone has to learn to deal with.
