Same can be said of the x1. Sony has gameplay down, no worries there. They certainly have more variety in their first party and exclusives then MS.  GAmes like journey, Heavy rain,  LBP,  Shadow of Colussus are unique, sony always like trying new things.

Not too impressed with what MS is showing either. Glad to hear Sony has gameplay down, hopefully they show some next gen version of it some time soon.

To be honest the launch is pretty much by the numbers in terms of genres/design... car game, fighting game, fps game. Though Killzone is looking absolutely amazing, I'm not sure they will for this game make changes to it to show next gen design. I mean it's about time these FPS games had bigger areas and more decision making/effects... pretty sure it will be a very nice by the numbers linear fps game.

I'm not sure you will get anything unexpected at the start of the gen, but sometimes you dont need it either, Infamous i want more powers a more alive world and more effects. They deliver that, the will deliver a next gen experience on this game for me.

Sony have shown on the PS3 that they have the best exclusives, Flower, Heavy rain/Beyond, Journey, Dead Nation, Tokoyo Jungle... many many others. I am not too concerned about it at all.
