Politically correct means you said or did the right thing to score points politically for yourself. When you deal with groups that have pull, you have to learn the right and wrong things to say, and adjust. Individuals who scream about political correctness are usually individuals out of the political mainstream, who want to end up holding views that are going to put them in pariah status, and they whine about it. Such individuals will tend to be conservative actually, and fail to see where society is heading, and hate the fact their views get them blacklisted by individuals who feel threatened and have enough pull to have an impact. Such individuals complaining will wish that money could counter it, and they could buy their way out, but they can't.
