Not really. The design is growing on me and I'm curious to see how it feels. But, I really like the 3D features, and I take my 3DS with me alot, so the no clamshell design is a deal breaker.
My sister on the other hand wants a 3DS pretty much only for Animal Crossing, Phoenix Wright, and maybe Mario Kart. She won't take it with her much, and she has a purse, so this may be good for her.
