I was just reading the contract between Respawn and EA. I also just finishing reading the contract between M$ and EA and Respawn. You wouldn't believe the way this deal works...
Don't be silly, NO ONE on this site has any real knowledge of how any of these particular deals were done. This is the worst form of speculation. No real life experience in the negotiation of said deals with EA or M$. No real idea at all. But, a number of posters act like they have a clue who owns what rights and who is in control of what.
It may be fun to speculate, but don't bother to imply that you are right or another person is wrong.
