Given what Kayima tweeted about W101's budget, I'd imagine they're both in the same ballpark too. Surely it'd made more sense to split the advertising 50/50 than 100/0.

Aside from that, and to remain on topic, I don't really "understand" Nintendo Directs. They just seem to be announced so suddenly and over so soon. If I didn't read forums like this, I'd probably miss the news about them.

Perhaps Nintendo expected this game to do well digitally???
