It's things like this that are why I pretty much have zero respect for Nintendo. They pretty have an identical mentality to their to where they can't even, in the least, embrace embrace their competition. In their mind, they can do whatever they want because, as long as it has that Nintendo brand, they'll automatically have the perfect product, and all else is inferior. It's almost like they see themselves as the only company in this industry.

Well, hate to break it to them, but I don't remember the Wii-U already having 1M+ preorders, 3 months before it's launch. PS4 alone is going to destroy the Wii-U. Mustache Man is about to get owned again.

did you lose your respect for Sony when they said the Vita and PS3/4 can do what the WiiU can do/better? or how about that time when they said the 3DS is a baby's toy, or maybe when they said the WiiU is for people with 4 eyes?

Lose all respect no, but the whole Vita + PS3 charace that never was did in fact piss me off. PS4 + Vita is still a very likely thing, especially given that the 2 platforms were specifically developed around the same time to compliment each other (whereas PS3 and Vita were not). While I did disagree that the 3DS is a baby's toy, it's not exactly the hardcore gamer's first choice for a gaming platform either, for several reasons. The 4 eyes was just a poke of fun. They never directly insulted or put down the Wii-U. It was implied. If Ninty fans were somehow offended by it, then that sounds more like an insecurity on their part. With PS4 + Vita, it will be entirely on developers how the two interact, because Sony chooses not to bottleneck developers by forcing a peripheral down their throat, while weakening their own hardware in the process. The point of the comment was to say that Vita isn't some necessary peripheral to enjoy your console. There's actually an option there for gamers and developers alike. While I'm aware that the Wii-U gamepad isn't a forced peripheral for gamers, it is forced on developers in that they HAVE to develope their games around it, and sadly the Wii-U hardware is vitually cut in half because the system has to sacrifice a lot to keep the controller running properly.

Sony may make a lot of mistakes as a company but, so far in this new gen, they have yet to demonstrate such arrogance as M$ and Nintendo. They don't directly shoot down the competition. They simply tell the truth, and stick to their overall goal. PS3 even proved that, and it's why PS4 is on the verge of taking next gen by storm.
