The only thing you give up is a tablet controller which can be had with a better experience using the Vita (Even a longer battery life) and Free Online (If you can even count the Wii U as having online games). All for 150 dollars more? Think of the average consumer. Nintendo has their big hitters releasing, while PS4 has a very meh lineup for 450 dollars (With internet). As for your Vita argument, 200 + 400= 600 dollars for that. Money doesn't grow on trees.
