as example people who go to gamestop and search for a holiday present for their kids! maybe not yet but with a lower price point of both consoles...

instead of "yes the xbox one costs 50 bucks more (let's say 250 vs 300) but you have kinect and you rkids will love to play kinectimals 5" it could be "your kids will love the ps4 and knack 2"

well, stuff like that...

and don't forget, most people who buy a console aren't like the first few million who buy a new one. they are the mainstream people who are easy to manipulate and who want to buy a console they have no clue about just because it could be a good gift.
