Titanfall doesn't need to be a system seller. The game comes out in 2014. It isn't a day one release. What Titanfall needs to do is give those who are considering the Xbox One an incentive to purchase today and wait for the game.
That is, I can purchase the Xbox One now, play any of the games I'm interested in playing, and when Titanfall comes out get the game. Titanfall is more about "Look at what we have in store for you and your Xbox One," rather than "Look at what's hot on Day One!"
