Rumor: You will be able to catch 650 Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y

Well I imagine the max would be

730 - (prior legendaries) - (prior starter pokemon)

So what gen is this 6th? So - 18*3 = 54 starter.

Then what like 50 legendary pokemon.

So I would think the max they would allow collectable would be 730-104 = 626.

MAX = 626    

& 626 < 650

So unless they are allowing you to catch pokemon like Charmander or other starters or bringing a shit ton of old Legendaries in the game, the number itself is easily debunked by simple math.
